Shipping policy

How We Make Your Order

Every DAILE piece is made to order in our studio in Riga, Latvia. We print, quality-check, embed the NFC chip, and carefully pack each order before it leaves us.

Production takes 1–2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding Latvian public holidays). Orders placed before 15:00 Riga time are entered into production the same day.

Personalised puzzles — where we print from your photo — are produced in the same 1–2 business days. We review every uploaded image before printing and will contact you if the resolution is too low for a clean result.

Delivery Times

We ship exclusively with FedEx International Priority. Transit times after your order leaves our studio:

• Latvia: 1–2 business days
• European Union (all member states, including Cyprus): 1–3 business days
• United Kingdom: 2–4 · Switzerland: 2–5 business days
• United States · Canada: 2–4 business days
• UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar: 3–6 business days
• All other destinations: 3–7 business days

With production, orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days in the EU and 3–6 in the US, Canada and UK. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Shipping Cost

• Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia: free shipping on every order, with no minimum spend.
• All other destinations we ship to: free shipping on orders of €100 or more.
• Orders below €100 outside the Baltic states: shipping is paid by the customer. The delivery rate is calculated at checkout based on your destination and the items in your order.

The €100 threshold applies to the value of the products in your order, excluding shipping and separately charged import duties and taxes. If you shop in another currency, the equivalent threshold is used at checkout. Shipping availability and the final delivery charge are shown before payment.

Taxes, Duties, and Import Fees

European Union. Product prices include VAT. Orders shipped from Latvia to another EU member state are not subject to import duties.

Destinations outside the European Union. Product prices do not include applicable import duties and taxes. These are paid by the customer separately from the product price and shipping charge. Where collection at checkout is supported, applicable duties and taxes are calculated and displayed separately before payment.

For destinations where import charges cannot be collected at checkout, including Iraq and Northern Ireland, any applicable import duties, taxes and clearance fees may be collected by the carrier or local authorities and are payable by the customer.

Free shipping covers the delivery charge only. It does not mean that import duties, taxes or customs clearance fees are waived. Duties and taxes calculated at checkout are estimates; carrier handling or clearance fees may not be included.

If the carrier requests payment of duties or taxes that you have already paid at checkout, contact info@daile.art with your order number and the carrier's notice so that we can check the charge.

Tracking Your Order

As soon as your parcel is collected by FedEx, you receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number. No tracking email within 3 business days? Check spam, then write to us.

Incorrect Address and Failed Delivery

We ship to the exact address provided. If you spot an error, contact us immediately — before production starts we correct it free of charge. Parcels returned due to a wrong address can be re-sent for a second shipping fee, or refunded for the product value only.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

Damaged: keep the packaging, photograph it and the product, write within 5 business days of delivery. Replacement or refund, usually without returning the item.

Lost: we open a claim with FedEx on your behalf; once confirmed lost — replacement or full refund, your choice.

Cancelling or Changing Your Order

• Before production starts — cancelled free, full refund
• After production starts — fee of up to 35% of order value
• After dispatch — cancellation no longer possible

Personalised Orders

Custom puzzles are produced in the same 1–2 business days. Because they are made specifically for you, they cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged or defective.

Returns and Refunds

Non-personalised items in original condition — 30 days from delivery. Refund to the original payment method within 7 days of inspection, no restocking fee. EU customers additionally have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (does not apply to personalised items).
