3. How we use personal data
- To create, quality-check, ship and support your order.
- To produce personalised artwork and puzzle products from uploaded content.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and maintain security.
- To provide tracking, delivery updates, returns and customer care.
- To improve our products, personaliser and customer experience.
- To send marketing where you have consented or where permitted by law.
- To meet accounting, tax and consumer-protection obligations.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and improving DAILE, and consent where required for marketing or non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Personalised photos and artwork
Files uploaded to the DAILE personaliser are used to prepare previews, manufacture your order, perform quality control and resolve support issues. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for these purposes. Please upload only content that you are authorised to use and avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
We retain personalisation files only for as long as reasonably required to fulfil the order, handle reprints or claims, maintain necessary records and protect legal rights. You may request deletion at info@daile.art; legal or operational retention requirements may still apply.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We may share the minimum necessary data with Shopify, payment processors, production and fulfilment partners, FedEx or other carriers, email and customer-support providers, analytics and advertising services, professional advisers and public authorities where required by law.
We do not sell personal data for money. Some advertising or analytics activity may be treated as a sale or sharing under certain local laws. Where applicable, use the store privacy-choice tools or contact us.
7. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Essential cookies run the store and checkout. With consent where required, analytics, personalisation and advertising technologies help us understand performance, measure campaigns and show relevant content. Manage available choices through the cookie banner, browser settings and Your Privacy Choices page.
8. Marketing
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each message. Where SMS marketing is offered, consent is not a condition of purchase and you can opt out using the instructions in the message. Transactional order and delivery messages may still be sent.
9. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we use recognised transfer mechanisms and safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
10. Retention
We keep data no longer than necessary. Retention depends on the order lifecycle, tax and accounting duties, dispute limitation periods, fraud prevention, consent records and support needs.
11. Your rights
Depending on location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority. EU/EEA residents may contact the Latvian Data State Inspectorate or their local authority.
To exercise a right, email info@daile.art. We may need to verify your identity.
12. Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure. DAILE is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data without appropriate authorisation.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. Questions can be sent to info@daile.art.
