The past returns in new forms myths become machines, fossils become frameworks while the future quietly questions our human core. Are we integrating with the wild or overwriting it? The piece doesn’t preach; it invites you to look, feel, and decide.

ABOUT THE ARTIST — KRISTĪNE PRIEDĪTE
DAILE is proud to present the work of Kristīne Priedīte, a Latvian painter whose foundation in restoration at the Art Academy of Latvia (B.A.) and current pursuit of a Master’s degree anchors a practice devoted to seeing with uncommon clarity. Kristīne paints in oil with a realist’s discipline, building worlds of luminous color and meticulous detail where form, light, and memory converse.
Her studio process is intentionally iterative: study, experiment, absorb, refine. Restoration informs her sensitivity to materials and time; contemporary inquiry shapes her tone intimate, quietly daring, and rigorously made. The result is a body of work that bridges tradition and the present moment, inviting slow looking and rewarding it with depth.
